Distance Reiki Healing

The premise behind Distance Reiki is that everything is connected; there is no separation, and our energy field not only extends beyond our physical body but in fact extends indefinitely. That means you can reap the benefits of this energy work no matter where you may be in the world (or in space and time). Energy is not bound by a physical space and therefore being online will not in any way, reduce the effectiveness of your session. Distance Reiki is just one of the many ways to link to and channel healing energy.

A 60-minute remote healing session. Each session includes a Guided Meditation, Reiki, and an Intuitive Reading. At the end, we’ll discuss the experience, and I’ll provide recommendations to optimize your well-being after the session.

  • Reiki is a healing modality that impacts the energetic systems of the body to promote the body's regenerative self-healing ability. The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing developed by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui in 1922. Reiki treats the whole person, spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical, to achieve balance and restore optimum health.

    Reiki is Universal Life Energy, harnessed and guided by a trained Practitioner who has been attuned to the practice. Their hands become a channel for concentrated life energy that can promote healing and balance in themselves and others. We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well-being.

    Reiki is not a religion. Reiki is a way of life that is connected to healing on Earth.  Reiki is about healing yourself and assisting others in healing themselves. It is for everyone who desires to open up to its possibilities. You can practice any religion, yet still use and benefit from Reiki. While it is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others.  Mikao Usui, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures.

  • Each person experiences Reiki differently depending on their individual needs at the time. Benefits reported by recipients include deep relaxation promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well-being on all levels. it is not uncommon to drift off to sleep and feel at ease with your surroundings. Some people feel sensations of heat, tingling, or experience seeing colors, while others can have an emotional response, indicating that shifts are taking place, allowing harmony to be restored. Sometimes nothing is felt directly. Instead, the body takes the time to incorporate the changes applied by the attuned Reiki Practitioner and the benefits may not be felt until after a session is complete, sometimes even days later.

     All in all, Reiki is a gentle healing art that uses an “energetic dance” between the practitioner and recipient to create holistic healing throughout the systems of the body.

  • Approach your session with an open mind, heart, and body.

    We’ll begin your session with a conversation where you’ll let me know what you're seeking and where you would like to focus. You can ask any questions or share what you feel is necessary for me to know.

    Throughout the session you’ll be sitting or lying down in a comfortable, quiet space with your eyes closed. Reiki is non-invasive and is a relaxing treatment and I am intuitively guided on where to focus. Don't try to relax, just let the Reiki relax you. Your state will shift quite naturally as the session proceeds. Meanwhile feel free to daydream, enjoy the music, or simply observe your breath or the sensations of the practice.

    Don’t doubt what you experience. Energy healing and Reiki are subtle. If you sense something, embrace it and it will grow, take form, and support the fulfillment of your healing intentions.

  • Although recipients typically leave a Reiki session feeling refreshed, sometimes they notice feeling more tired in the evening than usual. This is the body's natural healing response stimulating your system to start the healing process and should last only a few days.

    After your Reiki session, it’s important to listen to your emotions and see how you feel. This can completely differ from person to person, and there is no wrong or right way to feel.

    At the end of our session, I’ll provide recommendations for after care.
